DELRAY NEIGHBORHOODS OFFERED PRIDE GRANTS

Deadline is July 30th for organized residential neighborhood associations to apply for a grant of up to $6000 from the Neighborhood Pride Grants Enhancement Program. The grants will be given for projects that enhance neighborhoods and create a more pleasant place to live, work and play.

The goal is to actively engage residents in neighborhood upgrades and removal of sub-standard conditions. Eligible projects must be a permanent physical improvement providing a safer environment or creating an identity for the area.

Applications can be downloaded from the City’s website, mydelraybeach.com, and select Neighborhood Pride Grants on homepage in News section or from Delray Beach City Hall, 100 NW 1st Avenue or Neighborhood Resource Center, 141 SW 12th Avenue, Delray Beach. Return completed applications to City of Delray Beach Neighborhood Advisory Council, c/o Denise F. Jadd, 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach or contact Denise Jadd, neighborhood planner, at 561-243-7629.
