POLO CLUB WALK/RUN BENEFITS CANCER RESEARCH

The Greater Boca Raton Cancer Unit of the Papanicolaou Corps recently involved more than 200 members and guests at the POLO CLUB, and $47,000 was raised to mark “the quest to find a cure in our lifetime.” Founded in 1952, the group is an all-volunteer organization with 17,000 members in 48 units to help raise money for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center of the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics. A gift of $3,325,000 was given by the Papanicolaou Corps for Cancer Research; the group has a 6-year goal of raising $14MM.
