A BEAUTIFUL POLO LUNCHEON IS PLANNED TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH FOR SYLVESTER COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER IN MIAMI














The Greater Boca Raton Cancer Unit, Papanicolaou Corps for Cancer Research, invites you to attend their Annual Gala Luncheon on January 26th, 2009 at Polo Club.
In 2008, these wonderful women of the Greater Boca Raton Cancer Unit raised about $300,000 through their diligent efforts! They are to be highly complemented for their success. They are the Luncheon Co-Chairwomen and have planned a beautiful event… don’t miss it!The Corps has over 14,000 dedicated members who have raised millions of dollars in their 57 years of existence that have gone for research, diagnosis and treatments at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami Hospital and Clinics. Sylvester is south Florida's only university-based cancer center. Opened in 1992, Sylvester has transformed cancer research and treatment in south Florida and beyond. The facility handles nearly 1600 inpatient admissions annually and performs more than 2700 surgical procedures, treating 3800 new cancer patient. All Sylvester physicians are on faculty at Miller School of Medicine. There are more than 240 physicians and scientists working together.
